Death Valley 2010

Had some free time this afternoon, so a coworker and I took a quick trip to Death Valley (it's only 8 miles away). First we visited Rhyolite, NV, home of a real life ghost town. Then we headed over to Death Valley. The place was swarming with cops pulling people over...the speed limit was 25 mph in some places and 35 in others...very "strange" for such a wide open place. Thankfully we didn't get pulled over. Below are some stitched photos taken with my iPhone. Enjoy!

Sunset from the bottom of Death Valley.

Here is a house made of glass bottles. It was built in 1906 and is located in Rhyolite, NV.

Random pretty sky in Rhyolite, NV.

You'd be amazed what you might run across in the desert...a real blonde for example...
