Imperial Dunes in Southeastern CA. The southern part is difficult to get to without an ATV...so only one picture worthy of the blog...

The "Center of the World" in Felicity,CA. As recognized by Imperial County CA and the country of France. France? Center of the World? Really? A line from Field of Dreams comes to mind...If you build it they will come... And yes I know it's really "he" not "they"...

It's 10 minutes fast....it could be easily fixed....wouldn't take that much effort...

We already were getting the evil eye for not paying $3 to see the "Center of the World" so not sure if they would have understood the benefit of fixing their clock :-)

Cathedral Caverns take two

Went to Cathedral Caverns today for the second time. Still a very cool place. Only had the iphone 4 with me, so that's what you see below. First image is autostitched, the rest are raw HDR images without any post-processing. Not bad for a cell phone camera :-)

The boat on the right was the one I was on. The one on the left, the "Allure of the Seas". You don't realize what big is until you're sitting next to that boat.

Half Moon Cay in Bahamas

Finally had some nice weather on our last stop in the Bahamas. Did some parasailing and hung out at the beach. Water was cold, so didn't swim...mostly enjoyed the scenery...you can interpret that however you wish :-)

Yes!!! It fits!

As some of you know, one of the issues I thought I might have is where to store the motorcycle. I didn't want to pay big $$$ for another parking place, and I thought I might have enough room at the front of my current parking place to park it. As you can see if fits just fine, and is very easy to pull in/out. So that problem is solved :-)

My first motorcycle destination...

Yet another wonderful day and a new motorcycle that needs riding...so I decided to head to Fort Washington. Sucky part of that is that I had to get on the beltway and cross the Woodrow Wilson bridge to get to 210...but it being Sunday morning the traffic was pretty light. As you can see from the pictures below it was all worth it though...beautiful day!
