Hi, You've found Charlie's blog. Every once in a while I'll add stuff. This is mainly an experiment with my iPhone, so don't expect much.

Cathedral Caverns take two
Went to Cathedral Caverns today for the second time. Still a very cool place. Only had the iphone 4 with me, so that's what you see below. First image is autostitched, the rest are raw HDR images without any post-processing. Not bad for a cell phone camera :-)

U.S.V.I.
Here are some pictures I didn't get a chance to post while on the boat.
The boat on the right was the one I was on. The one on the left, the "Allure of the Seas". You don't realize what big is until you're sitting next to that boat.
Another view of "Allure of the Seas". One of the stories told on our ship by the crew was that this ship could only dock at three ports because of her size.
Beach on the north side of the island.
Charlotte Amalie.
Didn't realize we had an office in the Caribbean...
Interesting post-sunrise picture...
Iguana that live on the rocks near where the boat docked. Everyone feeds them...which explains the belly...

Half Moon Cay in Bahamas
Finally had some nice weather on our last stop in the Bahamas. Did some parasailing and hung out at the beach. Water was cold, so didn't swim...mostly enjoyed the scenery...you can interpret that however you wish :-)

This was taken as we left...t was raining too hard when we arrived to take any pictures. Rain didn't affect much...I had already planned on getting wet anyway...

Yes!!! It fits!
As some of you know, one of the issues I thought I might have is where to store the motorcycle. I didn't want to pay big $$$ for another parking place, and I thought I might have enough room at the front of my current parking place to park it. As you can see if fits just fine, and is very easy to pull in/out. So that problem is solved :-)

My first motorcycle destination...
Yet another wonderful day and a new motorcycle that needs riding...so I decided to head to Fort Washington. Sucky part of that is that I had to get on the beltway and cross the Woodrow Wilson bridge to get to 210...but it being Sunday morning the traffic was pretty light. As you can see from the pictures below it was all worth it though...beautiful day!

VLA
Well I managed to get to the Very Large Array (VLA) during the southern tour of NM I took on my birthday. Unfortunately it was getting kinda late when I arrived...sun had just set. Still managed a few nifty photos though...
Real rockets flying near Roswell, NM
Well not everything that flies in Roswell NM is an alien. Here is a picture of a rocket that was launched by Dr. Robert Goddard near Roswell NM. It was one of the last rockets launched by Dr Goddard, and is located in the Roswell Arts and Science Museum in the center of town.
