DC RollerGirls - DC Demoncats vs. Scare Force One

Went with some friends to see DC Rollergirls Roller Derby Bout tonight (and I got the ticket to prove it). The second image is another autostitch creation using about 25 photos taken with my iPhone. Like the way it ghosts the people on the floor that were moving a lot.

This is a picture that is actually made up of many pictures (26
actually) and "stitched" together using a program called "autostitch".
I then cropped to remove the funny edges. Cool part is that you don't
really need to pay attention as to how you take the pictures...just
take a lot and make sure there is overlap. Thanks to Aaron for
pointing out this neat little app :-)

Taos Pueblo

Visited Taos Pueblo today. It's the middle of winter so not much going on there. 

If you go to the wikipedia page I linked to above, you can see a picture of this church by Ansel Adams.

Lots of snow. Glad it was actually cold as most of the roads were frozen instead of muddy. Even so the bright sun was starting to melt some of it while I was there.

The Bridge to Nowhere...

Also known as Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. Cool part is that it is part of a chase scene in the upcoming Terminator 4 movie (google search link). Bet you're wondering how I took a picture of myself...well actually I met a nice lady named Kathi at the Taos Pueblo that followed me over to the bridge and took the picture. 

Can you see my shadow in this picture? Hint: it's in the middle of the photograph...

Yeah I know nice smirk. But it was cold and windy and by the time this picture was taken I was ready to get back in the car about 10 minute ago :-)

Texas School Book Repository. I'm sure you can figure out the rest...

weather in Dallas

Well, I got in to Dallas just in time... Just as I walked into my hotel room, the light show began. Below is a picture from the local TV station showing the incoming weather...there's a lot of red in that there storm...

Went to the park this past weekend with Dad, Sis and the nephews. The older nephew was moving way to fast to get a picture of him, but the younger one slowed down just enough for me to catch him...couldn't get him to smile though...
