weather in Dallas

Well, I got in to Dallas just in time... Just as I walked into my hotel room, the light show began. Below is a picture from the local TV station showing the incoming weather...there's a lot of red in that there storm...

Went to the park this past weekend with Dad, Sis and the nephews. The older nephew was moving way to fast to get a picture of him, but the younger one slowed down just enough for me to catch him...couldn't get him to smile though...

Cathedral Caverns

Went to Cathedral Caverns today. This is just an amazing place and these pictures do it no justice. I highly recommend it if you're in the Huntsville AL area.

I took these pictures with my Canon PowerShow SD300 without a tripod.  I tried not to use a flash, and hence some of the pictures are dark. I then enhanced them in iPhoto...hence some of the false color in the images. Not the best way to take pictures in very low light, but I did get some reasonable pictures...

One other thing to note that's not obvious in these pictures....the rooms in these caves are huge! Everything is very open and in some cases the rooms are a couple of hundred feet high. We were all amazed at how open the caves were.
